Ergonomic Right-Handed Gaming Mouse

The Glorious Model D 2 is a wired gaming mouse built for right-handed users who prefer a palm or claw grip. Its ergonomic shape supports the hand during extended sessions while keeping the weight at 58 grams. Six programmable buttons and customisable RGB lighting let you tailor the mouse for work or play. The BAMF 2.0 optical sensor reaches 26000 DPI for precise tracking.

USB Interface and Sensor Limits

The mouse connects through a standard USB port and polls at 1000 Hz for consistent responsiveness. The optical sensor delivers up to 650 IPS tracking speed and 50G acceleration, so rapid swipes remain accurate without smoothing. Switches rated for 80000000 clicks reduce the chance of double-click issues over time. PTFE feet provide low-friction glide on most hard or cloth pads.

Compatibility and Setup Checks

Verify that your system has an available USB port and runs Windows, macOS or Linux, as those are the supported operating systems. The Ascended Cable is flexible but still tethered, so ensure the cable length suits your desk layout. The honeycomb shell is solid rather than perforated in this revision, so airflow preferences are not a factor. No additional software is required for basic operation.

Questions about this item

Matte Black versus other finishes — which should I pick?

The Matte Black version shares the same 58 g weight, 26 000 DPI sensor and six programmable buttons as other colour options, so choose purely on aesthetic preference.

What does the 26 000 DPI figure mean in daily use?

It sets the maximum sensitivity ceiling; the BAMF 2.0 sensor tracks up to 650 IPS at 50 G acceleration, so you can lower DPI in software for precise control without losing tracking fidelity.

How does the USB interface limit polling or latency?

The wired USB connection delivers a fixed 1 000 Hz polling rate, giving 1 ms report intervals with no wireless overhead or battery constraints.
