Compact barebone mini PC with a Ryzen 7 H 255 processor, 32 GB DDR5 memory, 512 GB storage and triple M.2 expansion up to 24 TB
The GMKtec K12 barebone mini PC arrives with a Ryzen 7 H 255 processor, 32GB of DDR5 5600 MT/s memory and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. Integrated Radeon 780M graphics drive up to four displays at 8K resolution. An Oculink port enables external GPU expansion, while dual 2.5GbE LAN and WiFi 6E handle networking.
Buyers wanting a small, quiet system for 1080p or 1440p gaming, content creation or multi-monitor productivity will appreciate the pre-installed Windows 11 Pro and 35dB cooling. The 120W power adapter and VC thermal design support sustained loads. Users needing more than 32GB of RAM, discrete graphics performance without an eGPU, or storage beyond 24TB across the three M.2 slots should consider other platforms.
Storage expansion is the decisive specification: three PCIe 4.0 M.2 2280 slots accept up to 24TB combined, with one slot wired for x4 and two for x2 bandwidth. The included 512GB drive occupies one slot, leaving two open for additional NVMe SSDs. This density lets the mini PC serve as a compact workstation or media server without external enclosures.

Open the chassis, insert each drive at an angle into the M.2 2280 slot, secure with the screw, and close the case; the step often missed is tightening the screw so the drive makes full contact with the thermal pad.
Blow dust from the fan intakes and heatsink fins every few months; the thermal pads on the DDR5 and SSD areas should be checked when drives are swapped.
The CPU TDP scales up to 70 W and the cooling is rated to 35 dB; sustained heavy workloads will push the SoC toward its 100 °C junction limit before throttling begins.
