GMKWTL White Forged Carbon Keycaps

These GMKWTL keycaps bring a forged carbon fibre aesthetic to mechanical keyboards. The set uses a PBT and polycarbonate hybrid construction with double-shot moulding. Side-printed legends stay transparent for a soft shine-through effect. The white colourway weighs 325 grams.

Cherry Profile With South-Facing LED Support

The keycaps follow the original Cherry height and contour for a familiar typing feel. They are designed specifically for mechanical keyboards that use south-facing RGB LEDs. The side-printed legends are shine-through and resistant to wear. The textured PBT surface resists shine over long-term use.

Suits Enthusiasts Wanting Textured Shine-Through

Builders who prefer smooth ABS legends or a uniform top-print style should look elsewhere. Keyboards with north-facing LEDs will not illuminate the side legends as intended. Anyone needing a non-standard layout kit or dedicated macro column must check compatibility separately.

Questions about this item

How does the 325 g weight feel once the set is installed on a keyboard?

The mass gives a solid, premium heft that dampens hollow ping and makes each keystroke feel grounded without slowing down typing speed.

What does the PBT+PC hybrid construction mean for RGB shine-through on south-facing LEDs?

The translucent polycarbonate core lets side-printed legends glow evenly while the PBT shell diffuses the light, so south-facing RGBs produce a soft, uniform glow with no hotspots.

Will the Cherry-profile sculpt clear a standard plate-mounted switch housing without interference?

Yes, the keycaps follow true Cherry height and contour, so they seat cleanly on MX-style stems and leave enough clearance for typical plate-mounted builds.
