Compact USB Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Adapter

The Golden Blue adapter adds 150Mbps 802.11n Wi-Fi and BT 4.0 to a desktop or laptop through a USB 2.0 port. Its tiny 3.2 cm body stays nearly flush with the chassis, making it practical for tight spaces or mobile use. Supported systems include Windows 7 through 10, Linux and Mac.

For basic connectivity, not high throughput

This suit users who need simple internet access, Bluetooth peripherals or a travel companion for older hardware. Buyers who want 5 GHz band support, faster 802.11ac speeds or greater than 10 metre indoor range should look at something else.

150Mbps maximum transmission rate

The single figure that decides fit is the 150Mbps peak Wi-Fi speed on the 2.4 GHz band. If your network plan or local file transfers demand more bandwidth, this adapter will bottleneck the connection.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 150 Mbps version or look for a higher speed?

This model delivers up to 150 Mbps on 802.11n, which suits everyday web browsing and streaming; no other speed variant is offered for this adapter.

What does the 150 Mbps figure mean once the adapter is plugged into my computer?

150 Mbps is the maximum PHY rate on the 2.4 GHz band; real-world throughput will be lower due to overhead, distance and interference, typically enough for HD video and general use.

Does the USB 2.0 interface limit the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth performance?

The adapter uses a USB 2.0 connection and operates on the 2.412-2.482 GHz band for both Wi-Fi and BT 4.0; the link rate stays within the interface capability.
