PCI-Express Wi-Fi Adapter for desktop PCs

The Golden Blue PCI-Express Wi-Fi Adapter adds wireless networking to a desktop computer through an available PCIe slot. It targets users who need a simple 2.4 GHz connection for everyday browsing, email and light streaming without running Ethernet cables. The card supports Windows 7, 8.1 and 10 in both 32-bit and 64-bit versions as well as Linux distributions.

300 Mbps maximum data rate on 2.4 GHz band

The adapter complies with IEEE 802.11 b/g/n standards and delivers up to 300 Mbps dynamic data rate using 20 MHz or 40 MHz channel bandwidth. Modulation schemes include DBPSK, DQPSK, CCK, OFDM, 16-QAM and 64-QAM. Performance is limited to the 2.4 GHz to 2.484 GHz frequency range, so it cannot access 5 GHz networks or achieve higher throughput available on newer standards.

Two detachable 5 dBi antennas included

The card measures 12 by 7.5 by 1.8 centimetres and weighs approximately 42 grams, fitting standard low-profile brackets. Two omnidirectional antennas screw onto the rear panel to improve coverage and stability. Security features cover 64/128-bit WEP, WPA/WPA2 and WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK with TKIP/AES encryption, plus WAPI support for compatible networks.
