Frame Size & Display Options

This black aluminum frame measures 12.46 by 16.46 by 2.51 inches overall. It displays a 12 by 16 inch photo without the mat or an 8.5 by 11 inch photo with the removable beveled mat. The opening size is 11.75 by 15.75 inches for borderless prints.

Capacity & Protection

Real glass is glued to the frame for a rigid structure that shields artwork from dust and damage. The mat opening is 8 by 10.5 inches, slightly cropping an 8.5 by 11 sheet for a clean gallery edge. The frame holds one photo at a time.

Upgrade Path

Replaces basic plastic or wood frames when a sleek metal finish and real glass are preferred. The jump is worth it for displaying certificates, family portraits or office signage where a minimalist black profile suits modern decor. It is not for buyers needing multiple openings, deep-set shadow boxes or ornate vintage styling.

Questions about this item

Will the 12.5 x 16.5 inch outer dimensions and pre-installed hangers work with the screw spacing I already have on my wall?

The frame measures 12.46 x 16.46 x 2.51 inches overall and ships with hangers already mounted on the back, so you can hold it against your existing screws to check alignment before drilling new holes.

How do I confirm the real glass and glued construction are seated correctly once I hang the frame?

After hanging, view the glass at an angle — it should sit flush with the black aluminum profile with no visible gaps, and the 11.75 x 15.75 inch opening should show your 12 x 16 photo held firmly by the slight overlap.

Does the box include the beveled mat for 8.5 x 11 photos or do I buy that separately?

The single pack contains the assembled black aluminum frame, real glass glued in place, backing board, pre-installed hangers, and the removable beveled mat with an 8 x 10.5 inch opening for 8.5 x 11 prints — nothing else is required.
