Dual 2.5 to 3.5 Drive Adapter Kit

This pack of two metal brackets lets you install up to two 2.5 inch SSDs or hard drives into a single 3.5 inch internal drive bay. It is aimed at desktop builders who want to add solid-state storage without using extra mounting points. The brackets accept standard 7 mm and 9.5 mm drive heights.

Check Your Case Bay And Drive Height

Verify that your chassis has a free 3.5 inch internal bay before ordering. Confirm each 2.5 inch drive measures either 7 mm or 9.5 mm thick so it fits the bracket correctly. No other dimensions or interface types are specified by the manufacturer.

Metal Construction Aids Heat Dissipation

The alloy frame conducts heat away from the drives during operation and resists bending under normal handling. Mounting holes line up with standard 3.5 inch bay screws for a secure fit. The pack supplies two identical brackets for dual-drive installations.

Questions about this item

Does the pack include mounting screws or only the two metal brackets?

The kit supplies two metal brackets with accurately spaced mounting holes; screws are not included and must be sourced separately.

Should I choose this dual bracket or a single version if I have two 7 mm SSDs to install?

Each bracket holds one 2.5 inch drive, so the pack of two lets you mount both 7 mm SSDs side by side in a single 3.5 inch bay.

Will a 9.5 mm thick SSD fit securely once the bracket is screwed into a standard 3.5 inch drive bay?

Yes, the bracket supports both 7 mm and 9.5 mm height drives and locks them firmly into any standard 3.5 inch internal bay.
