Purpose-built Scrypt ASIC miner
This Goldshell Antminer L3++ is an application-specific integrated circuit designed solely for the Scrypt hashing algorithm. It targets miners who want a dedicated machine for Litecoin and other Scrypt-based coins such as Dogecoin. The unit arrives new and includes a 220 V power supply so it can be plugged in and configured without sourcing a separate PSU.
Thermals, noise and power
Two double-ended fans push air across four hash boards that hold 288 BM1485 chips, each with its own bonded aluminium heat sink. The aluminium-alloy chassis measures 188 x 130 x 352 mm and weighs 4400 g. In normal operation the miner draws 942 W at 11.60–13.00 V, runs at 76 dB and is rated for ambient temperatures of 0–40 °C with humidity up to 95 %.
Deciding specification
The hashrate is 580 MH/s, which determines daily coin output and whether the electricity cost fits your mining plan. Nine 6-pin PCIe cables feed the boards and a single Ethernet port connects the controller to the pool. Buyers who need a different algorithm, a higher hashrate or lower power draw should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item
How do I install the Antminer L3++ and what is the step people often get wrong?
Connect the nine 6-pin power cables to the 220 V PSU, link the Ethernet port to your router, then power on. The step often missed is ensuring all nine connectors are fully seated before applying power.
What maintenance will the Antminer L3++ need later?
Clean the dual fans and the 288 BM1485 chip heat sinks regularly to prevent dust build-up. Replace fans if noise rises above the rated 76 dB or airflow drops.
What limit appears first during sustained use of the Antminer L3++?
The 0–40 °C operating temperature range is the first limit. If intake air exceeds 40 °C or humidity leaves the 5–95 % band, the miner will throttle or shut down.
