Gel Filled Mousing Platform

The Goldtouch GT6-0017 is a gel filled mousing platform designed to reduce contact stress on the nerves of the lower hand and wrist. It suits users who want a softer wrist rest while mousing on a larger tracking surface. The platform works with both standard and vertical mice. Its gentle slope and curvature help keep the mouse on a similar plane to the keyboard.

Setup considerations

Check that your desk has enough flat area for the platform to sit stably beside your keyboard. Verify the height of your current keyboard so the platform's gentle slope aligns the mouse on a similar plane. Ensure your mouse feet glide smoothly on the tracking surface material. Confirm you prefer a gel wrist rest rather than a firm or memory foam alternative.

Sustained use behaviour

The soft gel continuously cushions the wrist during long sessions to maintain comfort and limit contact stress. The larger tracking surface supports arm driven movement so the wrist stays neutral over extended periods. The curved slope keeps the mouse level with the keyboard to reduce repetitive reaching. The platform retains its shape and cushioning properties throughout the working day.
