1/43 Scale Limited-Edition Taxi Model

This 1/43 scale resin replica depicts the 1958 Ford Custom 300 Taxi Cab in Kind Taxi Co. red and yellow livery with a yellow interior. Production is limited to 200 pieces worldwide. The model measures approximately 4.75 inches long by 1.5 inches wide by 1.5 inches high and features true-to-scale exterior and interior detailing.

Plastic Display Showcase and Rubber Tyres

The model arrives in a brand-new box with the manufacturer’s original unopened packaging. Real rubber tyres replace the hard plastic wheels often found on lesser replicas. A clear plastic display showcase is included, allowing the car to be shown while protected from dust and handling.

Resin Construction with No Opening Parts

The body is cast in resin and has no opening doors, bonnet or boot, so internal mechanical details cannot be accessed. Collectors who want functional steering, opening panels or die-cast metal construction should look elsewhere. The officially licensed status ensures accurate badging and proportions for display-focused enthusiasts.

Questions about this item

Will the resin body or real rubber tires need any special care to prevent cracking over time?

The model is made of resin with real rubber tires and has no openings; keep it in the supplied plastic showcase away from direct sunlight and extreme temperature swings to preserve both materials.

What limits how many of this 1958 Ford Custom 300 Taxi Cab "Kind Taxi Co." can ever be owned?

Production is capped at 200 pieces worldwide, so the edition size itself is the hard limit on availability.

Does the sealed resin construction trap heat if the model sits under display lighting all day?

Resin does not generate heat; the 4.75-by-1.5-by-1.5-inch sealed model simply warms to ambient temperature, so prolonged lighting only raises its surface to room level.
