This 10-pack of flush-mount rough-in kits is built for new construction or remodel projects that use rectangular 8-inch in-wall speakers. Durable ABS plastic brackets install between 2x4 studs using 26-inch adjustable bands so the mount can slide to the exact position required. A removable hole cover keeps debris out of the cavity until the speaker is ready to be fitted.

Ten brackets provide rough-in locations for five stereo pairs, suitable for whole-house audio, home-theatre surround or commercial background-music systems. The outside flange matches standard drywall thickness for a clean finish, and each mount includes a hook to secure speaker wire during the build phase.
