Active Floor Game for Families

The Floor is Lava! Classic Edition from Goliath turns any indoor or outdoor space into a jumping challenge. Players spin, race to matching foam tiles and avoid the imaginary lava. The game suits ages five to 105 and supports two to six participants for parties or game nights.

25 Foam Stepping Stones

The set includes 25 cushioned, slip-resistant foam tiles that define the play area. Their quantity limits how many players can stand safely at once and determines how quickly tiles are removed as the round progresses. No board or electronic parts are required — only the tiles and the floor beneath them.

27 Challenge Cards Add Variety

A deck of 27 cards and a spinner inject fresh rules each round, forcing new movements and colour matches. The instructions explain every variant so the group can start within minutes. No app, batteries or extra purchases are needed to access the full game.

Questions about this item

How does the game keep 2 to 6 players moving across the floor?

The spinner calls a safe colour and everyone jumps to a matching foam tile; the last player to arrive loses their original tile, and the round repeats until only one player remains.

What does the spinner actually control during play?

The spinner determines which colour becomes the safe zone for that round, directing all players to jump onto tiles of that colour.

What floor space do the 25 foam tiles cover when laid out?

The set includes 25 cushioned, slip-resistant foam stepping stones that can be arranged across indoor or outdoor surfaces to create the lava field.
