Ultralight Portable Camp Chair

The Gonex GXGN1173 is a folding camp chair built for adults who need a seat that weighs only 3.3 lbs and folds flat in seconds. Its 7075 aluminum alloy X-frame spreads weight across four legs for stability on uneven ground. The chair supports up to 330 lbs and uses a polyester seat in a camouflage finish.

Upgrade From Bulky Camp Seats

This chair replaces heavy steel-framed or oversized folding chairs that add bulk to a pack. The jump is worth it when every ounce counts on a backpacking trek, a day hike, or a festival where you carry your gear. It also suits anglers and gardeners who want a quick seat without hauling a heavy frame.

Limits Of The Folding X-Frame Design

The compact folded size means the seat height and depth are fixed at medium dimensions, so taller users may find the position less adjustable than larger chairs. The 330 lb capacity is a hard limit; exceeding it risks frame failure. The chair requires flat, stable ground for safe use and is not designed for permanent outdoor exposure.
