Gorilla 115977 Clear Grip Waterproof Contact Adhesive 3 oz Tube 3-Pack

Multi-Pack Clear Contact Adhesive

Gorilla Clear Grip model 115977 is a crystal-clear contact adhesive supplied as a three-pack of 3 oz tubes. The waterproof formula creates a permanent, flexible bond on metal, glass, fabric, wood, ceramic, leather, paper and many plastics. It is designed for DIYers, crafters and repair technicians who need a versatile, heavy-duty adhesive for indoor and outdoor projects. The no-run consistency also makes it photo-safe for delicate work.

Bonding Capacity and Limitations

The adhesive grabs in seconds and handles general-purpose repairs, crafts and assembly tasks across a wide range of materials. Its waterproof and paintable finish suits projects exposed to moisture or requiring a cosmetic topcoat. The bond is not suited for structural load-bearing joints, polyethylene or polypropylene plastics, or continuous high-temperature environments beyond normal household ranges. Very large surface areas may require more adhesive than the three tubes provide.

Application Characteristics

The fast-grip formula sets quickly, reducing clamp time during normal use. Once cured, the bond remains flexible and resists water, making it safe for items that go through washer and dryer cycles. The clear finish avoids visible glue lines on transparent or light-coloured substrates. The solvent-based adhesive emits noticeable fumes during application, so ventilation is recommended. Cured adhesive cannot be repositioned.
