Gorilla 8040001 Clear Grip Adhesive

Gorilla 8040001 Clear Grip is a crystal-clear contact adhesive supplied in a 3 oz tube. It creates invisible bonds on wood, glass, tile, fabric and many other surfaces. The formula suits indoor repairs and outdoor projects alike. Makers, DIYers and hobbyists reach for it when a permanent, see-through hold is required.

Capacity and headroom

The 3 oz tube covers small to medium jobs such as shoe repairs, craft assemblies or tile touch-ups. Larger flooring or countertop installations will need multiple tubes. The adhesive grabs in seconds without clamping, yet it remains flexible after curing. It is not designed for structural load-bearing joints or continuous immersion.

Thermals noise and power

As a solvent-based adhesive it draws no power and produces no operational noise. The product functions across a wide temperature range once cured. Apply in well-ventilated areas because fumes are present during curing. The cured bond resists heat and moisture without softening.

Questions about this item

Will the Gorilla 8040001 Clear Grip adhesive bond securely to older wooden furniture I want to repair?

Yes, it creates a permanent bond on wood and other porous materials, making it suitable for furniture repairs.

How can I verify the adhesive is curing correctly after applying it to a tile repair?

The formula dries clear with a crystal-clear finish, so the bond line becomes invisible when fully cured.

Does the 3 oz tube include an applicator nozzle, or must I buy a separate caulking gun?

The 1.37 in x 8 in x 3.75 in tube is a standard squeeze tube with a built-in nozzle for direct application.
