Bath rug for wet floors

The Gorilla Grip 8541785083 is a grey rectangular mat measuring 30 by 20 inches. Thick chenille pile sits on a thermoplastic rubber backing that resists slipping on clean, dry surfaces. It suits anyone wanting a soft, absorbent landing spot beside a bath, shower or sink.

Replaces thin towels or mats that slide

Upgrade when a flat towel bunches up, stays damp or lets water reach the floor. The dense pile holds more moisture and the rubber backing is tested for repeated machine washing without breaking down like PVC or hot-glue constructions. Not for buyers who need a larger footprint or a mat rated for outdoor use.

Simple to place and care for

Lay the rug on a completely dry floor, press corners flat and test with one foot before regular use. Machine wash and tumble dry as often as needed; the OEKO-TEX certified fabric resists fading. The main risk is water trapped underneath, which can make the mat slide despite the rubber backing.

Questions about this item

How much clear floor space does the 30" x 20" rectangle need?

The rug measures 30 inches by 20 inches, so allow at least that footprint on a clean, dry floor with no curled corners.

What is the correct way to position the TPR backing and the one step users often skip?

Lay the thermoplastic rubber side flat on a dry surface, press the corners down, then test with one foot to confirm it grips before stepping fully on.

How should the chenille pile be cleaned so the rubber backing stays intact?

Machine wash and tumble dry as often as needed; the TPR backing is third-party tested to withstand repeated cycles without breaking down like PVC or hot glue.
