Bath rug for wet-floor safety

The Gorilla Grip bath rug measures 24 by 17 inches and uses a thick chenille pile that absorbs water quickly. A thermoplastic rubber backing grips clean, dry floors to reduce slipping when stepping out of the shower or standing at the sink.

Machine-made polyester with tested rubber backing

The rug is constructed from 100 percent polyester with a fluffy, quick-dry surface that resists fading through repeated washing. Third-party testing confirms the TP rubber backing withstands many wash-and-dry cycles without breaking down like PVC or hot-glue alternatives.

Check floor condition

The mat must sit on a completely clean, dry surface; moisture underneath can cause movement. Buyers who cannot machine wash and tumble dry regularly, or who need a larger footprint than 24 by 17 inches, should consider other options.

Questions about this item

How does the TP rubber backing compare to PVC or hot-glue backings in wash durability?

The TP rubber backing has been third-party tested to survive repeated machine washing and drying without breaking down, unlike PVC or hot-glue alternatives.

What floor condition is required for the 24 x 17 inch mat to grip safely?

The warning states the rug must be placed on a clean, dry floor only; water underneath can cause slipping, so ensure the surface is dry and the mat lies flat at corners and edges.

What washing method does the manufacturer recommend for this chenille bath rug?

Machine wash and tumble dry as often as needed; the premium microfiber is fade-resistant and designed for repeated laundering.
