Stainless Steel Manual Can Opener

The Gorilla Grip 840316728928 is a manual kitchen tool constructed from 100 percent stainless steel. It is designed for home cooks who need a reliable way to open standard cans and bottles without electricity. The oversized turn knob and slip‑resistant handles suit users who prefer a comfortable grip and simple operation.

Sustained Use Comfort

During repeated use the large turn knob reduces the force required per rotation, keeping hand fatigue low over a full cooking session. The handles maintain a soft‑touch surface that stays secure even when wet or greasy. The cutting wheel stays aligned with the can lip, so the tool does not slip or require constant readjustment.

Secure Latching Mechanism

The opener latches onto the can rim and locks in place, which is the single feature that determines whether it will work cleanly on every can you own. If you need an opener that grips automatically without manual pressure, this design meets that requirement. Buyers who want a hands‑free electric operation cannot use this manual model.

Questions about this item

Does the 100 percent stainless steel cutting wheel get hot or noisy after opening many cans in a row?

The wheel is unpowered metal, so it produces no motor noise and no electrical heat; only brief friction warmth from the can rim.

What must I already have in the kitchen for this 840316728928 opener to work?

Only a standard metal can with a crimped lip; the large turn knob and slip-resistant handles supply all the leverage needed.

Will the built-in bottle opener still catch caps if I keep using my older church-key opener for stubborn jars?

Yes, the integrated bottle opener works independently and pops standard crown caps regardless of any other tool you own.
