Gourmetier LS8500CTL Pre-Rinse Faucet

The Gourmetier LS8500CTL is a single-handle kitchen faucet built with a pre-rinse spring design. Its extendable spout and multiple spray settings target residential users who want commercial-style reach at the sink. The matte black finish coordinates with modern kitchen ensembles.

Sustained Use at the Sink

The exposed spring allows the spout to rotate and extend without losing tension during repeated pull-down cycles. Multiple spray patterns let you switch between a focused rinse and a wider flow without pressure drop. The single lever controls both temperature and volume in one motion, reducing handle adjustments during long cleaning sessions.

Build Quality and Daily Implications

The matte black coating resists visible water spots and fingerprints better than polished surfaces. Matching accessories are available separately to complete a uniform look. California Proposition 65 notices indicate the product contains chemicals known to the state to cause cancer and reproductive harm.

Questions about this item

How loud is the Gourmetier LS8500CTL faucet when the pre-rinse spray runs all day?

The Continental pre-rinse faucet uses a single-handle ceramic cartridge for smooth flow control; typical kitchen water pressure produces a moderate spray sound that blends with normal sink noise.

What existing plumbing connections does the LS8500CTL need to install and operate?

This single-handle model connects to standard hot and cold supply lines with common 1/2-inch fittings, so no special adapters or extra valves are required.

Will the matte black finish and exposed spring on the LS8500CTL match older stainless or chrome sink hardware?

The matte black coating and industrial spring design coordinate with mixed-metal kitchens; the neutral tone bridges stainless basins and chrome accessories without clashing.
