100ft RGBIC LED Strip Lights

The Govee H618F kit supplies two 50ft rolls of RGBIC LED strip lighting totalling 100ft. It is aimed at anyone wanting multicolour accent lighting for bedrooms, living rooms or dorm spaces. The strips are corded electric at 24 volts and 48 watts and weigh 1.28088574222 pounds. They are not waterproof and are intended for dry indoor surfaces only.

Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity limits

Control is handled through the Govee Home App over Bluetooth and WiFi, with voice commands via Alexa and Google Assistant. Apple HomeKit support is limited to timer functions. The integrated microphone enables 11 music sync modes that react to ambient sound. Because the strips are not waterproof they cannot be used outdoors or in damp areas, and the adhesive requires a clean, dry surface to hold reliably.

Check power and surface before ordering

Verify you have a suitable 24V 2A power source for the 48 watt draw and enough indoor wall or furniture length to accommodate 100ft of strip in your planned layout. The surface must be dry, clean and non-porous for the adhesive to bond. If you need outdoor-rated or waterproof lighting, or require full Apple HomeKit colour control, this kit does not meet those needs.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 100 ft roll or the shorter 16.4 ft option for a bedroom perimeter?

The 100 ft kit ships as two 50 ft rolls, giving enough length to run along multiple walls, while the 16.4 ft variant covers a single accent area.

What does the 48 W rating mean for daily electricity use?

At full brightness the strip draws 48 watts from the 24 V supply, so a typical evening of mixed colours will add only a few pence to the bill.

Does Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity limit the number of zones I can control?

Both radios connect to the Govee Home app, letting you group the two 50 ft rolls into one 100 ft scene or address them separately without a hub.
