Golden Yellow Fog and High-Beam Bulbs

The GP Thunder 3500K 9005 HB3 bulbs deliver a 3000K golden yellow output designed for fog lights and high-beam applications on compatible Honda, Lexus and Toyota vehicles. Each 65W bulb uses plasma-gold quartz glass and ships new in protective boxes.

Standard Wattage Thermal Profile

At the rated 65W the bulbs operate at standard wattage, producing a focused golden beam without the excess heat associated with higher-power upgrades. The quartz glass envelope manages thermal load for consistent output during extended night driving.

Direct Halogen Replacement Upgrade

These bulbs replace factory 9005 HB3 halogen units directly, offering a sharper 3500K plasma gold colour that improves contrast in fog and rain. The upgrade is worthwhile when a warmer, more penetrating beam is preferred over stock white light.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 9005 HB3 bulbs without damaging the plasma-gold quartz glass?

Handle the bulbs only by the metal base, never touch the glass with bare fingers, and seat them firmly in the headlight housing until the retaining clip clicks.

When will the 3500K golden yellow output fade enough to need replacement?

The plasma-gold quartz glass maintains its 3500K colour for the rated service life; replace the pair when beam intensity drops noticeably during night driving.

At what point does heat become the limiting factor during extended high-beam use?

The 65W standard wattage design keeps thermal load within the headlight assembly limits during normal high-beam operation.
