Indoor WiFi 6 Access Point

The Grandstream GWN7660 is a WiFi 6 indoor access point built for small to medium businesses and multi-floor offices. It supports dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax connectivity with 2x 2:2 MU-MIMO and OFDMA technology. The unit includes two Gigabit Ethernet ports for wired backhaul. It is managed through an embedded controller or GWN.Cloud.

Sustained Load Performance

The access point delivers 1.77G bps aggregate wireless throughput using DL/UL OFDMA to maintain efficiency when many clients are active. It supports up to 256 concurrent Wi-Fi client devices without controller bottlenecks. Advanced QoS prioritises low-latency applications such as voice-over-Wi-Fi during peak usage. Anti-hacking secure boot and digital signatures protect the control plane under continuous operation.

Build and Mounting Practicalities

The white enclosure is designed for indoor ceiling or wall mounting in commercial locations. Dual Gigabit ports allow flexible wired uplinks or daisy-chaining without additional switches. Self-power adaptation adjusts to available PoE budgets for simpler deployment. The controller-less architecture removes the need for a separate hardware appliance on site.
