GravaStar Alpha65 65W GaN Charger A65W Charcoal Black

What this charger is and who it suits

The GravaStar Alpha65 is a 65W GaN charger with a mecha robot design and a foldable US plug. It targets users who want a single compact brick for multiple USB-C and USB-A devices. The distinctive styling makes it a conversation piece on a desk or nightstand. Buyers needing more than three simultaneous ports or higher single-port power should look elsewhere.

Capacity and headroom

One USB-C port can deliver up to 65W, enough to take a MacBook Air M2 from 0 to 51% in 30 minutes. Two USB-C ports and one USB-A port share the total budget, so connecting several devices reduces the per-port output. The GaN circuitry keeps temperatures lower than traditional silicon designs at equivalent loads. Heavy multi-laptop setups will exceed the available headroom.

Practical limits of the USB-C interface

The charger uses the USB-C connector for both high-power and standard-power devices, so cable quality determines whether the negotiated rate is reached. It supports iPhone, MacBook, iPad and Galaxy S23/S24 models through standard USB-PD negotiation. Devices that require proprietary protocols beyond USB-PD may fall back to slower charging. Fire-resistant materials add a safety margin for sustained operation.
