4 TB SAS Gadget for V3500 and V3700
This Graviton gadget provides four terabytes of storage with a 7.2 K rotational speed and a SAS interface in a 3.5 inch form factor. It is designed for users expanding capacity in compatible V3500 or V3700 environments. The part numbers 00Y2475 and 00Y2426 identify the specific assembly.
Simple drive-bay installation with firmware checks
Installation follows standard 3.5 inch drive-bay procedures using the SAS connector. Problems usually arise when the host firmware does not recognise the part numbers 00Y2475 or 00Y2426, requiring a controller update before the volume appears. Buyers needing a different interface or a smaller form factor should look elsewhere.
