The adapter accepts 100 to 240 volt AC at 50 to 60 hertz with a 1.0 to 0.6 amp draw, so it works on mains supplies worldwide. Output is fixed at 20 volts DC and 3.25 amps; it cannot negotiate other voltages or currents. Protections include over-voltage at 120 percent minimum, over-current at 120 percent minimum, hiccup-mode overload with auto-recovery and automatic short-circuit recovery.
65W Continuous Output Headroom
At 65 watts the adapter comfortably powers the listed ThinkPad models under normal workloads while maintaining load regulation within ±5 percent. It operates from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius and stores from -20 to 85 degrees Celsius. The 3000 volt AC withstand rating and 500 volt DC insulation resistance provide safety margin, but the fixed 20 volt output means it cannot charge devices that require higher USB-C power profiles.
