Compact 40 mm DC 5 V cooling fan

The Graviton AD0405MB-C52 is a 40 × 40 × 20 mm axial fan that runs on 5 V DC and draws 0.35 A. It is built with a copper-and-aluminium heatsink and carries CE certification. The unit is intended for computer-case ventilation and server inverter cooling.

Suited for tight-chassis airflow upgrades

This fan fits builders refreshing a small-form-factor PC, a 1 U server or an industrial appliance where a 4020-profile cooler is specified. It will not satisfy setups that require a larger frame, higher voltage or PWM speed control.

Verify mounting pattern and power header

Confirm your chassis has the 40 mm square mounting holes and a 5 V DC header capable of supplying 0.35 A. Check that the connector pin-out matches the fan’s lead arrangement before ordering.

Questions about this item

What power connector must my board provide for the AD0405MB-C52 to run?

The fan needs a DC 5 V supply capable of delivering 0.35 A; ensure your header or adapter can source that current.

Will the 40 × 40 × 20 mm frame fit the same mounting holes as my existing 4020 fan?

Yes, the 40 mm square footprint and 20 mm thickness match the standard 4020 pattern, so existing screws line up.

How can I confirm the fan is spinning at the expected speed after installation?

Monitor the RPM reading in BIOS or fan-control software; a steady value indicates the 5 V 0.35 A motor is operating correctly.
