65 W 19 V AC Adapter for Acer Laptops

This 65 W adapter delivers 19 V at 3.42 A through a 3.0x1.0 mm barrel connector. It is designed as a replacement charger for compatible Acer laptops that require this exact voltage, current and tip size.

Continuous 65 W Output with Wide Input Range

The unit accepts 100-240 V at 50-60 Hz and maintains a steady 19 V 3.42 A output under sustained load. CE certification confirms compliance with European safety standards for continuous operation.

Simple Plug-In Installation with Included Cord

The package contains the adapter and a matching EU/US/UK/AU power cord, so no separate cable purchase is needed. The only common issue is selecting a tip that does not match the laptop's 3.0x1.0 mm jack, which prevents a secure connection.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 65 W adapter produce when it runs continuously?

The unit draws up to 65 W at full load, so sustained use will warm the case to typical laptop-charger temperatures; ensure the vents stay unobstructed.

Which power cord do I need to already have for the EU plug version to work?

The package includes a detachable mains cord with an EU plug rated for 100-240 V 50-60 Hz, so no separate cord is required.

Will the 3.0x1.0 mm tip fit the charging port on my older Acer that used the same ADP-65DE B part number?

Yes — the 3.0x1.0 mm barrel and 19 V 3.42 A output match the original ADP-65DE B specification exactly.
