Gigabit PCIe x1 Network Adapter

This Graviton adapter uses the Intel 82574L controller to add a single gigabit Ethernet port to a desktop computer. It installs in any PCI Express x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot and supports 10, 100 and 1000 Mbps speeds over Cat-5 cabling. The card complies with IEEE 802.3ab and related standards for wired networking.

Low-profile bracket and wake-up support

Both full-height and low-profile brackets are included so the card fits standard towers or slim chassis without extra parts. The controller supports remote wake-up, allowing the system to resume from sleep on network activity. Two onboard LEDs show link status and speed for quick troubleshooting.

Suited for servers and wired desktops

This adapter suits administrators who need a reliable wired link on a server or workstation with a free PCIe slot. Buyers who require multiple ports, fibre connectivity or wireless capability should consider a different card.

Questions about this item

Will the PCIe 1.0a x1 bus limit throughput under sustained gigabit traffic?

The adapter runs on a PCI Express 1.0a x1 lane, which provides enough bandwidth for continuous 1000 Mbps operation.

Does the Intel 82574L controller run hot or need active cooling during all-day use?

The card is a passive, low-profile design with no fan; typical case airflow keeps the controller within normal operating temperatures.

Which bracket do I need on hand to install this in my chassis?

Both full-height and low-profile screw-on brackets are included in the package.
