Graviton Replacement Keyboard for ThinkPad E450 E455 E460 E465 W450 No Backlight

Replacement Keyboard for ThinkPad E-Series

This new Graviton keyboard replaces the original input unit on ThinkPad E450, E450c, E455, E460, E465 and W450 laptops. It matches the US standard layout and carries CE certification. The part is designed for owners whose built-in keyboard has failed or suffered liquid damage. No backlight function is included.

Upgrade From Worn or Broken Original

The keyboard serves as a direct swap when keys stick, caps crack or the ribbon connector fatigues after years of use. Installation is worthwhile when the rest of the chassis remains sound and a full laptop replacement is not justified. If the palm rest or top case is also cracked, this single part will not restore full rigidity.

Limits of Ribbon-Cable Connection

The unit connects through a thin flexible ribbon that seats into a ZIF socket on the motherboard. Misalignment or incomplete insertion causes dead keys or erratic input, a common issue that reseating usually resolves. The cable length and connector pitch are fixed by the laptop design, so the keyboard cannot be adapted to models outside the listed series.
