A 5 mm insulated nut driver with a 6 in shaft, rated for 1000 V and tested to ASTM F1505 standards
The Gray Tools CH05M-I is a 5 mm insulated nut driver built for electrical work up to 1000 V. It features a cushioned non-slip handle with an orange top insulation layer and a yellow indicator layer. The tool is individually insulated and tested to ASTM F1505 standards.
The driver provides user protection for up to 1000 V under the stated standard. The dual-layer insulation serves as a visual safety indicator; damage to the orange layer reveals the yellow layer beneath. The tool is not rated for voltages exceeding this limit.
Inspect the insulation layers for cuts, cracks or wear before each job. The yellow indicator layer must remain fully covered by the orange outer layer to confirm integrity. Do not use the driver if the yellow layer is visible or if the handle cushioning is degraded.

Each driver is individually tested to ASTM F1505 and rated for user protection up to 1000 V, with a dual-layer orange-over-yellow handle that shows wear visually.
The insulation meets ASTM F1505, covering dielectric testing and the two-colour safety-indicator handle for 1000 V applications.
