Dual charger for Canon LP-E17

The Green Extreme smart charger handles two Canon LP-E17 batteries at once and shows charge progress on a backlit LCD. It suits photographers who need both packs ready for a full day of shooting.

Check power sources and battery type

Verify you have access to a 110-240 V AC outlet or a 12-24 V DC vehicle supply. The unit is built only for LP-E17 cells; other Canon or third-party packs will not fit or charge correctly.

Thermals noise and power draw

The charger runs from standard mains or vehicle voltage without a fan, so operation is silent. Normal use draws only the current needed for the two batteries and the LCD backlight.

Questions about this item

Does the box include the Canon LP-E17 batteries or only the charger and cables?

The package contains the dual smart charger, an AC cord, and a DC car cord. Canon LP-E17 batteries are sold separately.

Should I choose the AC or DC input for fastest charging at home?

Both the 110-240v AC wall input and the 12-24v DC car input charge two LP-E17 batteries simultaneously at the same rate.

What does the LCD percentage actually tell me while the batteries are charging?

The backlit screen shows a real-time numerical percentage and bar graph for each bay so you see exactly when each LP-E17 reaches full charge.
