Authentic Volkswagen Thing Replica

This 1/64 scale diecast model replicates the 1974 Volkswagen Thing (Type 181) in a weathered beige finish. It is an officially licensed release from the American Pickers TV series (2010-Current). The model features a die-cast metal body and chassis with real rubber tires. Detailed interior and exterior elements match the original vehicle design.

Display-Ready Collectible Format

The model arrives in custom themed blister packaging within the manufacturer's original unopened box. Its compact 2.25-inch length fits standard display cases or diorama shelves without modification. No assembly or additional accessories are required for presentation. The sealed packaging preserves condition for collectors who keep items boxed.

Limited Edition Hollywood Series

Release number 39 in the Hollywood Series marks this as a limited production run. The authentic decoration and true-to-scale detail satisfy enthusiasts seeking screen-accurate representations. Collectors needing multiple variations or larger scales will find this single-scale offering restrictive. The fixed edition size means restocks are unlikely once sold out.
