Compatible replacement for APC Back-UPS Pro 1300VA

This 24V 7AH sealed lead-acid battery replaces the OEM APCRBC165 cartridge. It fits the Back-UPS Pro BR1300MI, Back UPS Pro 1300 and Back UPS Pro BR 1300VA units. The pack contains two 12V 7AH cells with F2 terminals. Each unit is tested and charged before it leaves the supplier.

Sustained backup performance

The 7AH rating determines how long the UPS can power connected equipment during an outage. Under continuous load the voltage remains stable until the cells approach depletion. The sealed construction prevents electrolyte leakage in any orientation. No maintenance is required after installation.

Upgrading from a depleted cartridge

When the original RBC165 no longer holds a charge the UPS will signal a battery fault and runtime collapses. Swapping in this compatible cartridge restores the full backup duration. It is not suitable for UPS models that use a different voltage or cartridge form factor.

Questions about this item

How much heat does the 24V 7AH cartridge produce when the UPS runs continuously?

The sealed lead-acid cells generate only modest warmth during normal float charging; the UPS enclosure handles dissipation without extra cooling.

What must I already own to install this APCRBC165 replacement?

A compatible APC Back-UPS Pro BR1300MI, Back UPS Pro 1300, or Back UPS Pro BR 1300VA unit with the original battery compartment intact.

Will the 6.00" x 8.00" x 3.00" cartridge fit the same tray used by my older RBC165?

Yes, the dimensions match the OEM cartridge exactly, so it slides into the existing tray without modification.
