Core configuration

This GRI gaming desktop pairs an Intel Core i7-12700K processor with 16GB of DDR5 memory and a GeForce RTX 4060 Ti 8GB graphics card. A 1TB NVMe solid-state drive provides the primary storage. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro installed and activated.

Who this suits

The build targets gamers and content creators who want strong 1080p and 1440p performance in a mid-tower chassis with tempered glass panels and ARGB lighting. Buyers who need more than 16GB of memory out of the box, or who require a larger storage array for extensive media libraries, should consider a different configuration.

Deciding specification

The motherboard uses a B660M chipset that does not support CPU overclocking, so the unlocked multiplier on the i7-12700K cannot be utilised. If your workload depends on manual frequency tuning, this platform will not meet that requirement.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 16GB DDR5 configuration or look for a different capacity?

The system ships with 16GB of DDR5 memory already installed; this is the only capacity offered for this build.

What does the i7-12700K actually deliver in everyday gaming and multitasking?

The 12th Gen Core i7 processor provides high clock speeds and 12 cores for smooth frame rates in modern titles and responsive multitasking.

Does the B660M motherboard limit the RTX 4060 Ti or the NVMe drive in any way?

The B660M chipset runs the graphics card at PCIe 3.0 x16 and the NVMe SSD at PCIe 3.0 x4, so neither component is bottlenecked by the board.
