Built for high-end gaming and multitasking

This GRI gaming desktop pairs an Intel Core i9-14900K processor with 16GB of DDR5 memory and a GeForce RTX 5060Ti 8GB graphics card. A 2TB NVMe solid-state drive provides fast storage for games and applications. The system ships with Windows 11 Pro already activated and includes built-in Wi-Fi 6 connectivity.

Upgrading from an older platform

Moving to this configuration replaces a previous-generation CPU and slower memory with the i9-14900K and DDR5, delivering higher frame rates and smoother multitasking. The RTX 5060Ti 8GB steps up from mid-range GPUs for 1440p gaming. The jump is worth it when your current rig struggles with modern titles or heavy workloads.

Limits of the B660M platform

The motherboard uses a B660M chipset, which locks the CPU multiplier and prevents overclocking the i9-14900K despite its unlocked design. Memory speeds run at the chipset's supported DDR5 frequencies rather than the processor's maximum. The 750W power supply caps future GPU upgrades to cards within its output headroom.

Questions about this item

What motherboard form factor and CPU cooler clearance does the Zalman ZQBE Black chassis support?

The Zalman ZQBE Black is an ATX mid-tower with three tempered glass panels and pre-installed PWM ARGB fans. It fits standard ATX motherboards and includes a Cooler Master or equivalent air cooler for the i9-14900K.

How do I install the 16GB DDR5 ARGB memory on the B660M motherboard, and what step is commonly missed?

Align the notch on each DDR5 module with the slot key, press firmly until the retention clips click, then connect the ARGB header to the motherboard for lighting control.

When should I consider upgrading the 750W power supply or adding storage to this desktop?

The 750W unit covers the i9-14900K and RTX 5060Ti with headroom. Add a second NVMe drive when the 2TB Silicon Power SSD fills, or upgrade the PSU if you install a significantly higher-wattage GPU later.
