System configuration

The GRI gaming desktop combines an Intel Core i9-14900K processor with 16GB of DDR5 memory and an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card holding 16GB of video memory. A 1TB NVMe solid-state drive provides the primary storage volume. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed and activated.

Motherboard platform

The system is built on a B660M DDR5 chipset motherboard that supports the installed processor and memory. This board determines which future CPU upgrades are possible and how many storage devices can be added. The 750W power supply delivers power to all components.

Chassis and connectivity

The Zalman ZQBE Black mid-tower case features three tempered glass panels for a 270-degree interior view and three pre-installed PWM ARGB fans for airflow. Front I/O includes one USB port and one audio jack while the rear panel offers six USB ports. Built-in Wi-Fi 6 wireless networking is included.

Questions about this item

How does the i9-14900K perform in a finished desktop?

The i9-14900K runs at its rated speeds inside this system, cooled by the included air cooler and fed by the 750W power supply, so you get the full single-thread and multi-thread performance Intel specifies for the chip.

What does the B660M DDR5 motherboard limit in daily use?

The B660M chipset locks the CPU multiplier, so the i9-14900K cannot be overclocked, and it provides the PCIe lanes and USB ports listed in the specs without additional expansion slots.

Will the Zalman ZQBE Black case fit a full-size graphics card?

The case depth is 339 mm, which accommodates the RX 9070 XT and similar full-length cards, and the three pre-installed PWM ARGB fans provide airflow for the GPU and CPU cooler.
