System configuration

This GRI gaming desktop pairs a 14th generation Intel Core i7 14700K processor with a GeForce RTX 4060 8GB graphics card. It runs Windows 11 Pro on a B660M micro-ATX motherboard and is cooled by four 120mm ARGB fans inside a Zalman i3 ARGB case with a hinged glass panel. A 650W power supply and WiFi 6E complete the build.

Target users and limits

The 16GB of DDR4 ARGB memory and 4TB NVMe solid-state drive suit gamers who want ample capacity for a large library without adding drives. Buyers who need more than 16GB of system memory for heavy content creation or virtualisation should look elsewhere. The fixed B660M board also limits future CPU upgrades to the same socket generation.

Deciding specification

The GeForce RTX 4060 8GB GPU defines the gaming tier this system delivers. It determines the resolution and detail settings you can expect in modern titles. If your workload requires higher graphics performance or more video memory, this desktop will not match those needs.

Questions about this item

Will the Zalman i3 ARGB case with its 422 mm depth and 219 mm width fit on my desk shelf?

The chassis measures 422 mm deep, 219 mm wide and 484 mm high, so check your shelf clearance against those dimensions before ordering.

What is the main installation step that gets missed when adding a drive to the B660M MATX motherboard?

After sliding the NVMe stick into the M.2 slot, you must secure it with the tiny retention screw; skipping that screw leaves the drive loose and unrecognised.

Which components inside this desktop will need attention or replacement over time?

The four 120 mm ARGB fans and the CPU cooler are the moving parts that wear out; plan to clean dust from the mesh panels and replace any fan that becomes noisy.
