Built for DDR5 DIY builders

This gaming desktop ships without memory so you can install your own DDR5 modules and keep the rest of the platform ready to run. A Ryzen 7 9700X processor and GeForce RTX 4070 12GB graphics card are already fitted and tested. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-activated with updates applied. The system targets enthusiasts who want GPU and CPU performance now and RAM flexibility later.

Zalman i3 ARGB chassis with hinged glass

The case uses a hinged tempered-glass side panel that swings open for tool-free interior access. Four 120 mm ARGB fans and a high-airflow mesh front panel move air through the 484x219x422 mm frame. A Cooler Master or equivalent CPU cooler handles the processor thermals. Front I/O provides three USB ports and two audio jacks while the rear adds six more USB ports.

BYOR DDR5 decides compatibility

Memory capacity and speed are entirely determined by the DDR5 sticks you supply, so the platform only works with modules you purchase separately. The B650M micro-ATX motherboard and 750 W power supply support the installed Ryzen 7 9700X and RTX 4070 12GB with headroom for future upgrades. Storage is fixed at a 2 TB NVMe Silicon Power drive. Wi-Fi 6E connectivity is built in.

Questions about this item

What PCIe standard does the B650M motherboard use for the RTX 4070 and the 2 TB NVMe drive?

The B650M board provides PCIe 4.0 lanes for both the graphics card and the M.2 NVMe slot, so the RTX 4070 and the 2 TB drive run at Gen 4 speeds.

Will a standard ATX power supply fit the Zalman i3 ARGB chassis if I upgrade later?

The case is built around a 750 W unit and supports standard ATX power supplies, so a typical replacement will mount without modification.

Which DDR5 slots should I populate first when installing my own memory?

Install your DDR5 modules in the two slots furthest from the CPU socket — usually labelled A2 and B2 — to ensure the system posts on the first boot.
