Filter basket for VD strainers

The Groco BS-18 filter basket is built from 304 stainless steel and fits VD-series strainers. It serves marine maintenance tasks where corrosion resistance and durability are required. Boat owners and mechanics use it to keep strainer systems clear of debris during operation.

Sustained corrosion resistance

The 304 stainless construction resists saltwater exposure over long periods without degrading. It maintains structural integrity through repeated cleaning cycles and continuous immersion. The material choice supports reliable filtration across extended service intervals.

Mesh size 18 determines fit

The basket carries an 18 mesh rating that matches specific VD strainer housings. Buyers must confirm their strainer calls for this exact mesh to ensure proper flow and particle capture. An incorrect mesh size will not seat or filter as intended.
