Grote 44380 Momentary Ground Switch

The Grote 44380 is a momentary ground sensing switch designed for automotive electrical circuits. It operates at 20 to 30V DC with a current rating of 0.02 A. The switch features a blue actuator, white body, and screw termination for secure wiring connections.

Suits low-voltage momentary circuits

This switch suits installers needing a momentary ground function for compatible 44360 switches or trailer light circuits. It is not for buyers who need a maintained on/off latch, high-amperage switching, or a different actuator style for their specific dashboard layout.

Handles 20-30V DC signal switching

The 0.02 A rating comfortably handles low-current signal switching for ground-sensing applications. It runs out when the circuit demands higher amperage loads or sustained power distribution beyond momentary activation. Compatible with 44360 switch systems.

Questions about this item

What compatible switch type must already be present for the 44380 to function correctly?

The 44380 is designed to work with the 44360 switch series as its compatible product type.

Can this momentary ground switch operate on the same 20-30V DC circuit as older accessories rated for that range?

Yes, it shares a 20 to 30V DC voltage rating and draws 0.02 A, so it can run on that circuit.

How can I verify the switch is operating properly after wiring it to the screw terminals?

Activate the blue actuator; the momentary ground signal should trigger the connected device only while pressed.
