Grote 44710 Flasher Relay

The Grote 44710 is an electromagnetic flasher relay designed for automotive lighting circuits. It plugs directly into standard round sockets and provides a steady flash rate for turn signals and hazard lamps.

Check Your Vehicle Setup

Verify that your system runs on 11 to 15 volts DC and that the circuit current does not exceed 45 amps. Confirm the socket accepts a two-connector plug-in mount and that the 1 3/4 inch height clears the fuse panel.

Ideal for Vintage Restorations

This relay suits owners of vintage cars and trucks needing a direct replacement with electronically controlled timing. Builders requiring solid-state flashers or higher current capacity should consider other options.

Questions about this item

Does the Grote 44710 flasher include mounting hardware or connectors, or must they be purchased separately?

The unit has a moulded base with integrated terminals and a plug-in mount, so no extra hardware is required for standard round sockets.

Should I choose a different flasher if my vehicle needs a higher current rating than 45 A?

This model is rated at 45 A; if your circuit draws more current you will need a flasher with a higher rating.

What does the 60 to 120 flashes-per-minute range mean once the flasher is installed in my vintage truck?

The electronically controlled circuit keeps the flash rate steady between 60 and 120 cycles per minute across the 11-15 V DC supply range.
