Grote 47112 Clearance Marker Lamp Red

Grote 47112 Clearance Marker Lamp Red

The Grote 47112 is a round LED clearance marker lamp with a red lens designed for recreational vehicles. It meets FMVSS 108 standards and carries SAE lens codes P2, P3, and PC for front, side, and rear identification. A hermetic lens-to-housing seal and a Seal-Tight expanded rubber gasket protect the internals from moisture and road debris. The lamp draws 0.06 A and uses a PL-10 electrical connector.

Installation check

Verify that your vehicle has a compatible mounting bracket or grommet for a two-inch diameter round lamp. Confirm the existing wiring uses one of the listed manufacturer connector models such as 66800, 66801, 66840, 66850, 66851, 67001, or 67050. Ensure the electrical system can supply the required 0.06 A at the correct voltage for LED operation. Check that the mounting location provides enough clearance for the bracket and grommet assembly.

Thermals noise and power

LED technology generates minimal heat so the lamp remains cool during normal operation. There are no moving parts, so the unit produces no audible noise. Power draw is limited to 0.06 A, placing very little load on the vehicle electrical system. The sealed construction maintains consistent performance across temperature changes without condensation buildup.
