Replacement Touch Screen for Lenovo Yoga 720

This 15.6 inch UHD panel replaces the display on Lenovo Yoga 720-15IKB and 720-15ISK models. It matches the original 3840x2160 resolution and 40-pin connector. The assembly includes the bezel and is built for touch input only. Buyers must verify their exact model number and touch capability before ordering.

Sustained Visual Performance

The LED backlight delivers consistent brightness across long work sessions without the dimming seen in short bursts. Colour accuracy holds steady at the native 3840x2160 resolution during extended use. The rigid bezel assembly prevents flex that can cause backlight bleed over time. Each unit is tested before shipping to confirm stable output.

Straightforward Installation With Common Pitfalls

Installation requires disconnecting the 40-pin cable and removing the old bezel assembly. The most frequent issue is ordering a non-touch panel for a touch-enabled chassis, which leaves the digitizer disconnected. Another common error is fitting the screen to an incompatible Yoga 720 sub-model with a different connector layout. Double-check the part number against 80X7001VUS or 80X7003VUS before starting.

Questions about this item

How much power does the 15.6" UHD 3840x2160 touch screen draw when the laptop runs all day?

The replacement panel is a passive LED display; it draws power only from the laptop's internal connector and adds no separate heat or noise source.

Which existing laptop parts must match for this 40-pin touch screen to work?

It fits Lenovo Yoga 720-15IKB 80X7 and 720-15ISK 80X7001VUS or 80X7003VUS models that originally shipped with a UHD 3840x2160 touch panel.

Will the 40-pin connector on this display work with the older non-touch cable in my Yoga 720?

No — the assembly requires the 40-pin touch-screen cable; a non-touch cable has a different pin count and will not connect.
