48" 10-Point IR Touch Overlay

This 48-inch infrared touch frame overlay adds 10-point multi-touch capability to a compatible display. It is designed for interactive kiosks, digital signage, whiteboards, and exhibition installations. The aluminium cabinet provides a durable structure for continuous public use. No glass panel is included with the frame.

Sustained Operation in Bright Environments

The infrared technology resists light interference and prevents cursor drift even under direct sunlight. This ensures consistent touch accuracy during extended operating hours in brightly lit or outdoor-adjacent locations. Driver-free operation on Windows, Android, and Linux reduces software maintenance overhead. Mac iOS requires a separate HID driver obtained from the supplier.

Verify Display Compatibility Before Purchase

This overlay matches only a standard 48-inch 16:9 display active area; you must compare the supplied dimension drawing against your monitor's exact viewable region. The product is a frame-only kit without glass and includes an installation manual for straightforward mounting. Android TV boxes are not supported unless the box vendor confirms touch functionality.

Questions about this item

How much heat or noise does the 48 inch infrared frame add during all day use?

The frame itself has no fan or heater, so it adds no audible noise or measurable heat to the display it surrounds.

What existing display must I already own for the 10 point overlay to work?

A standard 48 inch 16:9 monitor or TV whose active area matches the supplied drawing.

Will the USB touch interface work with an older Windows 7 PC I still use?

The frame is driver free for Windows, Android and Linux; Windows 7 is supported through the standard HID stack.
