46-inch 10-point IR overlay

This infrared touch frame adds multi-touch capability to a 46-inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. It supports ten simultaneous touch points for interactive kiosks, digital signage, whiteboards and exhibition installations. The overlay ships without glass and is designed for self-installation using the supplied manual. Free drivers cover Windows, Android and Linux, while macOS works through a HID driver.

Sustained operation in bright light

Infrared sensing resists ambient light interference and eliminates drift even under direct sunlight. The aluminium frame construction maintains structural rigidity during continuous public use without warping. Driver‑less operation on supported platforms means no background service can stall after long uptime. The hardware imposes no refresh-rate or resolution ceiling, so the host display sets the pace.

USB HID interface limits

Communication runs over a standard USB HID link, so the host must provide a powered port that enumerates a generic touch device. No proprietary protocol or firmware update mechanism is exposed, restricting integration to operating systems with built‑in HID multi-touch stacks. The overlay only fits a 46-inch panel matching the supplied dimensional drawing; other screen sizes or aspect ratios cannot be accommodated. Android TV boxes are explicitly unsupported.

Questions about this item

Does the 10-point IR touch frame generate noticeable heat or noise when running all day?

The infrared overlay has no moving parts and draws minimal power over USB, so it stays silent and adds no measurable heat to a 46" display during continuous use.

What existing display must I already own for this GT460-IR frame to work?

You need a 46" 16:9 monitor or panel whose outer dimensions match the frame's mounting drawing; the overlay fits that exact size only.

Will the USB HID interface work with an older Windows 7 kiosk PC I plan to keep?

Yes, the free driver supports Windows, Android and Linux, and the HID fallback covers legacy Windows versions without extra software.
