Compact 3-in-1 1D barcode scanner

The Netum C740 reads linear barcodes from paper and screens using a built-in CCD sensor. It connects via 2.4 GHz USB dongle, USB cable or Bluetooth to Windows, Mac, Linux, Android and iOS devices. Plug-and-play operation on the dongle and cable makes it ready for retail, warehouse or mobile POS workflows without driver installation.

100 000-code offline buffer

Instant upload mode streams each scan directly to the host. Storage mode holds up to 100 000 barcodes internally when the scanner is out of range, then batch-uploads later. Flash memory retains roughly 2 000 Code 128 symbols across power cycles. The scanner decodes UPC/EAN with 2- or 5-digit add-ons and Code 128 at high speed, but it does not read 2D symbologies such as QR or Data Matrix.

1 200 mAh battery rated for 20 hours continuous

Auto-sensing and continuous scan modes let the unit run hands-free on a stand, reducing trigger fatigue during long sessions. The CCD imager draws modest power while reading from LCD screens or through glass and shrink wrap. Recharging uses the supplied USB cable; no separate power adapter is required.

Questions about this item

Will the C740 1D CCD scanner work with a legacy POS system that only has a USB-A port?

Yes, the C740 includes a USB cable for wired plug-and-play operation and a 2.4G USB dongle that also plugs into a standard USB-A port, so it connects directly to older POS terminals without extra adapters.

How can I confirm the C740 is decoding barcodes correctly right after I pair it?

Scan any standard 1D barcode such as a UPC or CODE128 label; the scanner beeps and transmits the data instantly in instant-upload mode, letting you verify accurate reads on screen immediately.

Does the C740 package include a stand for hands-free auto-sensing, or must I order one separately?

The box contains the scanner, a 2.4G USB dongle, a USB cable and documentation; the auto-sensing stand mentioned in the specifications is sold separately.
