Handheld 1D Laser Scanner for Mobile and Desktop Use

The Netum C830 reads one-dimensional barcodes including Code 128, EAN-13, UPC-A and GS1-Databar variants. It connects through Bluetooth, a 2.4 GHz wireless receiver or a wired USB link to Windows, Mac, Android or iOS devices. The pocket-sized laser engine targets moderate to rigorous daily scanning volumes.

Low-Power Operation with Physical Switch

A built-in 1200 mAh rechargeable battery delivers up to 8 hours of continuous scanning on a full charge. A hardware power switch cuts energy draw when the unit is not in use, preventing accidental drain. The laser engine functions under strong or dim ambient light and reads damaged or blurry codes without extra illumination.

Compact Ergonomics and Three-Way Connectivity

The lightweight body fits the hand for extended sessions and slips into a pocket between tasks. Switching between Bluetooth, 2.4 GHz dongle and wired USB modes requires no driver installation on supported operating systems. A single receiver handles the wireless link at distances up to 50 m line of sight.

Questions about this item

How do I pair the C830 via Bluetooth with my phone?

Power on the scanner, put it in Bluetooth pairing mode, then select it from your phone's Bluetooth menu; the 2.4 GHz dongle is not needed for this mode.

When will the 1200 mAh battery need replacing?

After several hundred charge cycles the runtime will drop below the rated 8 hours, at which point the internal cell should be swapped.

What stops me scanning all day at the 50 m wireless range?

The 1200 mAh battery limits continuous operation to about 8 hours before a recharge is required.
