Hardwired Motion Closet Light

The GUARANTLED PIRCL610W5K-SP is a 10 watt LED flush-mount fixture that replaces an existing ceiling or wall light wired to a standard four-inch junction box. It is built for normally dark, low-traffic indoor spaces such as walk-in closets, pantries, laundry rooms, hallways and basement entries where automatic hands-free light is preferred over a manual switch.

Thermals Noise Power

The unit draws 10 watts at 120 volts AC and produces 600 lumens of 5000K daylight output with a 90 CRI rating. It operates silently with no moving parts and is rated for ambient temperatures from minus four to ninety-five degrees Fahrenheit. The acrylic and aluminium housing is damp-location rated and ETL listed for safe indoor use.

Motion Detection Range

The integrated passive infrared sensor activates the light when motion is detected within about ten to twelve feet and keeps it on for thirty seconds after the last movement. This fixed range and timeout suit small enclosed areas but will not cover larger rooms or spaces where longer illumination is needed.

Questions about this item

How do I install this light kit on a standard 4-inch junction box?

Turn off power, remove the old fixture, connect the black, white and ground wires to the matching supply wires, secure the base to the junction box with the supplied screws, then snap the lens cover into place.

What maintenance or replacement will this fixture need after several years of use?

The integrated LED array is rated for 25,000 hours of operation; after that the entire unit would be replaced since there are no user-serviceable bulbs or batteries.

What is the first performance limit I will hit if the light runs continuously in a warm closet?

Continuous operation above the 95 °F maximum ambient temperature will shorten the 25,000-hour LED life and may trigger thermal protection that turns the light off.
