Guardair Pistol-Grip Air Gun

The Guardair pistol-grip air gun with a 24-inch extension is built for operators who need focused airflow at a distance. Its straight brass safety-tip nozzle and venturi design deliver a concentrated stream suitable for cleaning, drying or chip removal in industrial and automotive settings.

Installation and Common Issues

Connect the 1/4-inch female NPT inlet to a standard compressed-air line using the matching male fitting. The aluminum body is lightweight, but over-tightening the inlet can strip threads, and debris in the supply line may clog the venturi nozzle.

OSHA-Compliant 101 dB Output

The gun produces 101 dB at the nozzle while meeting OSHA pressure-compliance requirements, making it the deciding spec for shops that must stay within regulated noise and pressure limits. Buyers needing a quieter or non-compliant tool should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How can I verify the 24" extension air gun is performing correctly after connecting it to my 1/4" NPT air supply?

Confirm a focused air stream exits the 2" straight brass safety-tip nozzle and listen for the 101 dB sound level; the gun should deliver 1 lbf thrust when the OSHA-compliant venturi nozzle is fully engaged.

What components come with the Guardair pistol-grip air gun and what must I supply separately?

The gun includes the aluminum body with 24" extension, one 2" straight brass safety-tip venturi nozzle and 1/4" female NPT inlet; you must provide a compatible air hose, fittings and a regulated compressed-air source.

Which Guardair model should I choose if I need the 24" extension length with a safety-tip nozzle?

Select the LZR650024AA — the only listed version that combines a 24" extension, straight 2" brass safety-tip venturi nozzle, 101 dB output and OSHA pressure compliance in a single pistol-grip gun.
