Guardian L108 Backflow Preventer

The Guardian L108 is a brass backflow preventer finished in yellow for high visibility. It connects to Guardian drench hoses to stop reverse flow and protect the water supply from contamination. The valve meets ASSE 1024 and CSA B 64.6 standards for backflow prevention. It is supplied new and ready for installation on compatible safety equipment.

Facilities fitting Guardian drench hoses

This accessory suits maintenance teams adding backflow protection to existing Guardian drench hose models G5020, G5022, G5025, G5026 and G5046. The brass construction resists corrosion in industrial wash-down environments. Buyers needing protection for other hose brands or non-Guardian safety showers should verify compatibility before purchase. The unit is not a standalone drench hose or shower head.

ASSE 1024 and CSA B 64.6 compliance

The decisive specification is certification to ASSE 1024 and CSA B 64.6, confirming the valve meets recognised backflow-prevention performance requirements. These standards govern the device's ability to prevent contaminated water from re-entering the potable supply. Always confirm that local codes accept these certifications for the intended installation.
